Indian classical percussionist will be in the UAE to perform a mix of sufi and Indian classical music at Centrepoint Theatre next month

Indian tabla maestro Bickram Ghosh will perform in Dubai on November 11 at 8pm at the Centrepoint Theatre at Ductac.
Ghosh, who is a master of Hindustani classical music and Sufi, has worked with renowned Indian musicians including Pandit Ravi Shankar, Ustad Ali Akbar Khan and Tatun Bhattacharya.
Influenced by the Indian classical sounds of Patiala gharana’s thumri and khayal genres, Ghosh is known to experiment with sounds and reinterpret music.
This evening, entitled Sufusion, is a part of the Emirates NBD Classics series that celebrate classical music.
