Lisa from Blackpink readies for a busy February: New single, new show, new album

Lisa from chart-topping K-pop girl group Blackpink is all set for a busy February! This month, she will release her latest solo single, Born Again, in collaboration with American rapper Doja Cat and British singer-songwriter Raye. 

Born Again will mark Lisa’s second collaborative single after New Woman, which featured Spanish singer Rosalia. Born Again has been described as a “scintillating disco-tinged banger.”

Lisa revealed the cover for Born Again today via an Instagram teaser. Born Again will release on February 7. 

Lisa is also busy forging an acting career; she makes her screen debut in Season 3 of award-winning black comedy The White Lotus, portraying a White Lotus Thailand employee called Mook. A sneak peek showed her greeting guests dressed in the White Lotus uniform. Season 3 of The White Lotus premieres on HBO on February 16 and on OSN in this region.

Excitement levels are also high among fans for the release of Lisa’s first solo album, Alter Ego, through Lloud and RCA Records.

She opened up about perfecting the album in a Billboard cover story last year, saying, “I’m trying to figure it out, the tracklist and everything, what I can change in there. Everything’s there. I think they’re going to be shocked at how capable I am (at) doing so many things.”

 Alter Ego will release on February 28.
