Lee Min-ho shuts down Park Bom dating rumours and 'husband' claims: 'Baseless'

South Korean star Lee Min-ho's agency has responded to rumors regarding his rumoured relationship with singer Park-bom following her Instagram posts mentioning the actor.

On February 20, MYM Entertainment stated, “He is not personally acquainted with Park Bom, so these [rumors] are baseless.”

The speculation began in September last year when Park-bom shared a photo of Lee Min-ho with the caption, “true husband.” While her agency clarified that the post stemmed from her admiration as a fan, dating rumors persisted into February after she made similar claims on her second and third accounts, asserting, “He is my husband,” and posting a photo of herself next to Lee Min-ho.

Earlier on the same day MYM Entertainment released its statement, Park Bom posted again, writing, “Actually, I’m single. I posted this because Lee Min-ho asked me to. Just wanted to clarify that I’m single.” Her remarks prompted Lee Min-ho’s agency to formally address the rumors and put them to rest.

Bom is best known as the former main vocalist of the iconic K-pop girl group 2NE1, which was active under YG Entertainment from 2009 to 2016. She made a name for herself, after contributing to hits like ‘Fire,’ ‘I Don't Care,’ and ‘Lonely.’
