First look of Shah Rukh’s Chennai Express

Move over jeans and make way for lungis being heartily endorsed by Bollywood A-listers Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. In the first look at their upcoming romance Chennai Express, the posters are dominated by this pair in kitsch, colourful versions of the cotton wraps worn by South Indians.

The film, directed by comedy king Rohit Shetty of Golmaal fame, traces the journey of Khan’s character as he makes his way from Mumbai to Rameshwaram in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The release date is yet to be finalised, but the shooting wraps in April this year.
