Newly launched Indian entertainment channel Zindagi will air two new cross-border love stories — Mere Qatil Mere Dildaar and Kahi Unkahi — from August.

Mere Qatil Mere Dildaar, beginning on August 5, is a story of love and loss. The show revolves around a young couple Maham (Mehwish Hayat) and Umer (Ahsan Khan), who fall in love and get married against all odds. It will replace the existing show, Noorpur Ki Rani.

Kahi Unkahi dwells on how love thrives in spite of distance. The romantic drama also deals with class differences. The show will go on air from August 13.

“We thank audiences for their phenomenal response on all the shows aired so far on Zindagi. We are happy to announce news shows Mere Qatil Mere Dildaar and Kahi Unkahi that capture every emotion — from love, hate, joy to sadness.

“We are confident that both these shows will also strike a chord with viewers in the same way as Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Aunn Zara and Maat,” Priyanka Datta, business head, Zindagi, said in a statement.
