The Night Manager on Amazon Prime Video: Veteran Indian star Anil Kapoor is best known for the portrayal of the romantic, handsome hero or the good-natured guy next door. The 66-year-old is challenging this typecast as Shailendra in The Night Manager – an adaptation of the acclaimed Hugh Laurie-led series of the same name. Kapoor plays the anti-hero in the series as a money minded businessman who deals in arms and dabbles in violence in the process.

Farzi on Amazon Prime Video: Criminal masterminds as TV-series protagonists has been an evergreen trend and Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor is the latest entrant in this theme. Kapoor, in Farzi, plays a counterfeit expert starting with low-risk fake paintings sold on the street. His criminal endeavors quickly grow to another class when he starts making counterfeit currency for money laundering.

Cirkus on Netflix: Bollywood star Ranveer Singh is back with a zany entertainer where he plays a double role for the first time. The story follows twins who are adopted by two different families in different cities. By chance, one of the twins visits the city where his brother runs a circus.

You on Netflix: The plot of the series ‘You’ is based on the best-selling book of the same name by Caroline Kepnes, and it revolves around the question “What would you do for love?”. Penn Badgley plays the character of Joe Goldberg in the show, a man who will do almost anything for love. Netflix released the much-anticipated first part of the show’s fourth season on February 9 while Part 2 will be released on March 9.

True Beauty on Netflix: Fans of Korean shows will love this one – this South-Korean drama follows the story of Lim Ju-kyung who is bullied as a teenager for being ‘ugly’. She then turns her focus to becoming a make-up artist to hide her so-called flaws and becomes perceived as beautiful because of her talent.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on Disney+: Released after the untimely death of T’Challa star Chadwick Boseman, the sequel to this super-hero movie is already capsuled in the agony of loss. Radically reworked by Coogler and co-writer Joe Robert Cole, “Wakanda Forever” pushed ahead in hopes of honouring both Boseman and the rich Afrocentric world of the landmark original. In its admirably muddled way, it succeeds in both. Boseman’s death is poignantly filtered into the story from the start, beginning with off-screen death throes.

The Last of Us on OSN+: The critically acclaimed HBO series, ‘The Last of Us’, delivered an impressive viewership in the Middle East since its premiere on OSN+ and OSN Showcase. Breaking regional and global records, the series has also been renewed for a second season. ‘The Last of Us’ takes place 20 years after modern civilization has been destroyed. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey, as they both must traverse the U.S. and depend on each other for survival.

Your Place or Mine on Netflix: If you decide to settle in and watch to see the sparks fly between Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher, you'll be initially disappointed. They're not in the same room until the last 12 minutes. The premise of this particular Netflix rom-com is two old friends switching homes for a week and snapping each other out of their ruts.

‘Succession’ on OSN+: This hit series follows a wealthy family that owns a major media conglomerate and struggles to maintain its power. It stars Brian Cox as the Roy family patriarch and Jeremy Strong as one of his children, who connive to succeed their father as the company’s leader.
