Sanjay Dutt, who walked out of prison on Wednesday on a 14-day furlough, will watch his release “PK” during a special screening on Thursday.

Dutt, 55, will be watching the film, where he made a special appearance, for the first time on Christmas.

“He had not seen any cut of the film before. He also missed being a part of the entire promotions. Now that he is out, he will be watching the film with the entire cast and crew at a preview theatre in Santacruz,” said a statement from the film’s production team.

The Aamir Khan-Anushka Sharma starrer film released last Friday.

Dutt is serving a jail sentence in Yerwada Central Jail after being convicted under the Arms Act in 2013 in Mumbai bomb blast case.

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt arrives at his residence after he was granted two weeks' furlough by the state prison authorities in Mumbai on Wednesday.
