A celebration
Najwa Karam has launched her latest album titled Hayda Haki. The star, dubbed Sun of the Arabic Song by her many fans in the Arab world, has eight songs in her new album, including a song composed by Lebanese musician Melhem Barakat. Karam has also confirmed that she will be singing at the Jarash Festival in Jordan this summer.

Worth her weight in gold
Haifa Wehbe has finally been named the new face of Chopard. The Lebanese singer had tried hard to become the ambassador for the famous jewellery brand as her competitors Elissa and Nancy Ajram are the faces of Lazorde and Damas respectively.

Diab's parting album
It has been confirmed. Amr Diab's contract with Rotana Music will come to an end after the release of his next album Khalik Ma'aya (Stay With Me). The Lebanese singer has signed up with another company, Good News for Music, and is waiting for the launch of his next album to join the company.

Rightful claim
May Hariri denied allegations that she kidnapped her baby daughter Sara from her divorced husband. The Lebanese singer says she won her daughter through a proper and legal custody battle. Hariri adds that like any other mother, she loves her daughter and is keen to take care of her.
