2104 saw a 10% increase in visitor numbers from South Korea
Dubai: Dubai Tourism opened its first South Korea office in Seoul last week by inviting tourism and media partners to an Emirati-style ceremony.
Essam Kazim, CEO of Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism), said at the ceremony, “With a 10 per cent increase in visitors from South Korea in 2014 compared to the previous year, we have opened Dubai Tourism’s first office here to drive growth from a market in which, like many countries across Asia, we see significant potential.”
Earlier this month, Dubai Tourism hosted a familiarisation trip to Dubai for 450 Chinese travel and tourism specialists.
