MGM, Sorouh Real Estate to build Abu Dhabi entertainment complex

Los Angeles: Hollywood studio Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer has reached a deal with one of Abu Dhabi's largest real estate developers to build an entertainment development complex.

MGM said the joint project with Sorouh Real Estate is set to open by 2012 and will include a complex of hotels, restaurants, retail shops and themed attractions based on its library of films.

Last year, Universal Studios announced it would build a $ 2.2 billion (Dh 8.1 billion) theme park in Dubai by 2010 along with Tatweer.
