KPMG tie partnership to launch Audit Committee Institute

Dubai: KPMG, an audit services firm, and Hawkamah, the institute for corporate governance, have partnered to establish the Audit Committee Institute (ACI) in the UAE, according to a KPMG statement released on Monday.

The ACI will provide members with information, resources and knowledge sharing opportunities, the statement said, in an effort to improve the effectiveness, integrity and oversight of the financial reporting process in the UAE and Middle East North Africa region.
