InvestBank CEO to step down

Dubai: InvestBank said on Monday its chief executive officer Sami Farhat will step down from September 13, 2018.

Fahrat had joined the bank in 1977 after the bank was set up in 1975, the bank said in a statement posted on Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, where InvestBank’s shares are listed.

“As CEO he played a crucial role in modernising InvestBank, driving its growth and ensuring that it has continued to remain at the forefront of the UAE’s commercial banking sector,” stated Omran Tayram, chairman at InvestBank.
