The Central School, Dubai welcomes Hiren P. Sangani as new principal to lead future growth

The Central school, Dubai we feel nothing but pride. Established in 1982 in a small villa in Deira Dubai and moving under the NIMS group management in 1986 this institution began with a minimal 120 kids and which has now evolved to the mighty strength of 3000 and more.

Years back when many of those who couldn’t meet the exorbitant education expenses, The Central School Dubai became a safe anchor for quality education and best values which lured parents from various nationalities such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka to choose TCS as their learning destination. This step by step growth became a reality through hard work and determination of many.

This impressive premises was inaugurated by none other than the well-known Emirati poet and lyricist Dr Arif Al Shaikh who is the creator of the UAE National Anthem.

Hiren P. Sangani, the new Principal of The Central School Dubai who brings over 29 years of experience in education, including 12 years in senior leadership roles. His career spans classroom teaching, academic coordination, and school leadership, with a consistent focus on raising standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.

Began his career in 1996 as a Mathematics Teacher, which shaped his belief that every child deserves a personalised pathway to success. He has progressed through leadership roles including Head of Department, Head of Section, Academic Head, School Improvement Officer. Leads initiatives to strengthen assessment practices, enhance professional development, and integrate innovative, student-centred teaching strategies.

His leadership philosophy is transformational: believes in empowering teachers, motivating students, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing school culture. Under his guidance, schools have achieved measurable improvements in outcomes.

In the UAE context, he strongly aligns with the KHDA vision and UAE National Agenda. HIs priorities are to improve student attainment and progress, embed innovation and digital literacy, strengthen inclusion and wellbeing, and develop students’ critical thinking and life skills.
