Companies commit to investing in green energy sectors

Abu Dhabi: Mensha Ventures, a regulated venture capital firm at Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Chinese partners at the recent Annual Investment Meeting in Abu Dhabi.
The agreement, signed with Asia Development & Investment Bank, Hoover Investment Group, and Shenzhen Sinomaster Investment Group (SMT), commits a $1 billion investment for green energy and infrastructure projects in the UAE.
Mensha also signed an MoU with the Asian Development & Investment Bank to launch a Green Tech Fund. The fund’s primary focus will be the GCC region, aiming to build portfolio companies with global expertise and best-in-class industry knowledge in green technology.
The fund will specialise in new energy sectors including EV infrastructure, engineering, storage, and transportation.
