Can UAE residents pre-order Samsung’s Galaxy S25 smartphones?

Dubai: South Korean technology giant Samsung confirmed last week that the Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on January 22. And tech enthusiasts are already predicting an intense focus on the second generation of Galaxy AI (launched in 2024) and a diverse ecosystem of connected devices. While anticipation builds around the features of the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, the pre-order dates remain under wraps.

However, those eager to get their hands on the new devices are advised to register on the Samsung Galaxy Gulf website. Registered users of Samsung Galaxy received an email from Samsung offering a Dh200 gift card if they registered interest and upgraded to the smartphone’s latest iterations.

When will pre-order dates be announced?

Unlike previous years, tech enthusiasts have predicted that Samsung might delay the launch of its pre-order system from the Wednesday event to Friday morning, January 24. However, regardless of the exact start date, pre-orders are expected to close on Tuesday, February 4, Forbes has reported.

During previous Galaxy Unpacked events that featured phone launches, Samsung opened pre-orders at the end of the event. With the Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled to start on January 22 at 10 pm UAE time, pre-orders could be expected to open an hour or two after the start or early January 23 morning.

Moreover, the pre-order phase is the best time to get your hands on the new phone as the phone maker rolls out some of its best offers during this period. Last year, during the S24 pre-order period, UAE customers were offered a complimentary double storage upgrade, a one-year Samsung Care+ support service covering accidental damage and repairs, and a free 45W travel adaptor.

Last year, exclusive benefits included limited-edition colours available only on Samsung.com and several trade-in deals for a wide range of smartphones, including those from Samsung, Google, and Apple.

When will the phones go on sale?

After a user registers interest, watches the Galaxy Unpacked launch, and submits a pre-order request, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be delivered according to its retail availability. This is expected to start on Friday, February 7, when deliveries should arrive to those who have pre-ordered.
