UAE cash machine hacked by fraudsters over seven-day period
Dubai: The United Arab Emirates' central bank said a gang of fraudsters hacked into a bank's automated teller machine and copied users' credit-card data over a seven-day period.
Banks must replace cards or change personal identification numbers of all those who used the machine between February 19 and February 25, a statement on the Abu Dhabi-based central bank's website dated February 28 said.
The statement didn't name the bank or the location of the cash machine where the fraud occurred.
