Turkmenistan Airlines resumes flights to Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi: Turkmenistan Airlines resumed biweekly flights between Ashgabat International Airport and Abu Dhabi International Airport, connecting the two nation’s capitals with flights operating every Friday and Sunday.

The flights are expected to attract around 20,000 passengers annually between the two cities, according to a statement from Abu Dhabi Airports on Sunday.

“This additional service is part of our strategy to attract new airlines to our network that will support tourism growth in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi,” said Saoud Al Shamsi, Acting Chief Commercial Officer (ACCO) of Abu Dhabi Airports.
