Japan Airlines Co. said it’s experiencing issues with its systems due to a cyberattack that could impact local and international flights.
The issues started Thursday morning, the airline said in an emailed statement.
"We can confirm that we have been subjected to a cyber attack and are addressing the situation," a Japan Airlines spokeswoman told AFP. "It is likely to have an impact on flight operations moving forward."
Shares of Japan Air fell as much as 2.5% in Tokyo trading.
