LIV to Give: LIV Golf supports South Florida communities ahead of Team Championship

In the lead up to LIV Golf’s season-ending Team Championship, LIV Golf announced support for 13 charitable organizations serving the Miami area and surrounding South Florida communities. The support is part of LIV to Give, LIV Golf’s non-profit impact platform announced in June to establish and strengthen a range of initiatives, including education and youth development, sustainability, and programs that enhance the wellbeing of communities around the world.

Earlier this month, LIV Golf extended its support to disaster relief efforts to help Floridians impacted by Hurricane Ian. This week, LIV Golf will continue to support families affected by the hurricane through fan engagement at the tournament, where 54% of revenue generated through team merchandise sales, as well as funds raised through chipping challenges and activations in the Fan Village, will be contributed to hurricane relief.

This week, LIV Golf is extending support to the following charities through LIV to Give:

• Amigos for Kids: Expanding after-school programs and summer camp programs

• Boys & Girls Club of Miami-Dade: Supporting “Project Learn” & “Great Futures for Teens” programs

• Business & Community Networker: Providing access to training opportunities, internships and scholarships

• Camillus House: Supporting the Day Center to provide meals to underserved and homeless populations

• Citizens for a Better South Florida: Enhancing urban, community greening and habitat restoration

• Colombian American Service Association: Expanding access for low-income immigrants to legal representation and educational services

• Debris Free Oceans: Empowering communities to end plastic pollution

• The de Moya Foundation: Addressing the low employment rate of individuals with disabilities through systematic job development

• Dream in Green: Expanding environmental education programs throughout South Florida

• Health Awareness for Life: Providing health education and testing to people without medical insurance in South Florida

• South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation: Enhancing the quality of education of financially-disadvantaged high school students of minority populations

• Superhero Leadership Academy: Empowering at-risk youth by providing services and programs that teach leadership and development skills

• Voices for Children Foundation: Facilitating access to golf for youth in foster care in the Miami community.

LIV Golf’s impact efforts continued with on-site golf clinics hosted by players and local instructors at Trump National Doral Golf Club. On Wednesday, LIV Golf players Scott Vincent and Bernd Wiesberger hosted athletes from Jackson Hospital’s Christine E. Lynn Rehabilitation Center and the Miami VA Hospital in partnership with Adaptive Golfers, a non-profit that empowers individuals with a range of cognitive, physical, sensory, and health-related challenges to use the game of golf as a tool to improve the quality of their lives. On Friday, LIV Golf hosted the Hispanic Women’s Society Network of the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for a networking event and golf clinic hosted by players Abraham Ancer and Carlos Ortiz.
