Dubai-based Keyser off to strong start in Czech Republic on DP World Tour

Dubai-based MG Keyser (KSA), representing Jumeirah Golf Estates, shot a first round four under par 68 in the $1.75 million D+D Real Czech Masters on the DP World Tour at Albatross Golf Resort, Prague, Czech Republic.

The 35 year-old, playing on a sponsor’s invitation, started from hole one with an eagle - birdie start and with a further birdie on hole six went out in 32 shots. The first hole is the easiest hole of the day, with the second the 16th easiest from those who have played the hole to date.

A back nine of one birdie on hole 10 and a bogey four on the 13th along with seven pars, saw Keyser score a good opening round of 68. The golf course this week is set up playing at 7,468 yards with a par 72.

131 players

131 players are in the field with play in three-balls and one two-ball. The last tee time today (Thursday) in the first round is at 2.10 pm local Czech time.

Keyser was one of the early starters with six under par, the leaders in the clubhouse as Keyser finished his round. The weather forecast for both today and tomorrow predicts scattered and strong storms.

Keyser’s second round will be tomorrow (Friday) will be at 1.26 pm from tee 10.
