The Challenge Tour comes to Abu Dhabi for the first of a two week swing
This week sees the return of professional golf to the UAE with the $300,000 Abu Dhabi Challenge on the Challenge Tour at Abu Dhabi Golf Club played over the National Course.
This is the seventh event on the International Schedule of the Challenge Tour in the season long Road to Mallorca.
The Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) have received 30 invites to the event from the Challenge Tour which they have allocated to local, regional and international amateurs and professionals, including UAE National golfers.

The LIV Golf Tour continues this week in Singapore following their energized event in Adelaide, when Dubai Golden VISA Awardee Anirban Lahiri (Ind) finished a strong second place on his own earning $2.25 million.
The DP World Tour travels from Japan to South Korea for the Korea Championship Presented by Genesis in the 18th of 44 events on the 2022 – 2023 Race to Dubai.
Dubai based Adrian Meronk is the highest ranking player in the field at number 63 and is in the field alongside Rafa Cabrera Bello, Nico Colsaerts and Aaron Cockerill, representing The Els Club, Dubai, who lost in a play-off to Lucas Herbert last week in Japan, with Herbert not playing in the second of two mini-Asian Swing on the DP World Tour in South Korea.
