The UAE delegation has endorsed the Kigali Declaration in this regard at the Kigali Summit in Rwanda last week. The UAE makes it clear that the country is committed to collaborate with international partners to accelerate disease eradication efforts. UAE has always been at the forefront of joining global efforts to eliminate these diseases for it had also launched the ‘Reaching the Last Mile’ initiative in 2017 in a bid to end river blindness and lymphatic Filariasis in Africa. Image Credit: 2 of 3 MAN CITY AGREE £45 MILLION DEAL WITH LEEDS FORM PHILLIPS: Manchester City are not wasting any time in bolstering their squad for the new 2022/23 Premier League season. Pep Guardiola’s side will be attempting to defend their league title and have now added Kalvin Phillips to the team after agreeing a £45 million deal with Leeds United for the England midfielder. City made Phillips a priority after Fernandinho left this summer following nine years at the Etihad. Phillips made 214 appearances for Leeds and is expected to provide back up for Rodri. He is City’s third signing of the summer following the arrivals of Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez but there will be more incomings and outgoings as Guardiola prepares for the new campaign which kicks off in early August. While Beyonce herself hasn’t commented on the meaning of the song, it’s no wonder that so many people have assigned meaning to it during these turbulent times that are only doing to get rougher.
