Just a few weeks ago, there were rumours that not all was well with the pair’s relationship. The speculations started with an unverified tweet from an alleged movie reviewer claiming there's trouble in paradise gained traction. Several Indian media outlets also hinted that the couple were going through a rough patch. Putting an end to all the separation rumours, Padukone and Singh made their first joint appearance after a few months gap at an awards event on Thursday. They continued to react to each other’s posts on social media but were not pictured together in public until this event. As always, the two were dressed fashionably and complimented each other well. While Ranveer wore a snazzy black shimmering pants with red-dragon motif, his glamorous better-half wore an all-red power suit. A good influence: A few days after their 2018 wedding, Ranveer had spoken about Deepika in an interview and said he was excited to start a new phase in his life. He spoke about how life had changed for him since their wedding, and praised Deepika for her ‘good habits’, calling her a ‘good influence’ on an ‘undisciplined person’ like him. Future projects: Meanwhile, talking about Deepika's future work, she will be seen sharing screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in 'Pathaan', which also stars John Abraham.
