UAE’s Al Maya Group’s Kamal Vachani reappointed as regional head of ESC Middle East
Vachani has been representing the Council in the region since 1999
Dubai: India’s Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC), the apex organization of exporters of IT and related products, announced Monday it has reappointed Kamal Vachani as the regional director in the Middle East.
Vachani has been representing the Council in the region since 1999 and is also the Group Director and Partner of the Al Maya Group.
Gurmeet Singh, Executive Director of ESC, said, “Vachani has been actively sponsoring IT delegations’ visits to the region. He also supports Indian companies for participating in regional trade shows.”
Singh added: “We are confident that his dedicated involvement in export promotion from India would benefit the entire industry and lead to new trade ventures in the Middle East region.”
Imports of Indian electronics hardware and IT services to the Middle East, particularly the UAE, have shown a substantial increase, according to Vachani.
