The California Institute of Advertising, Communications & Marketing (CIACM) has partnered with an additional 60 companies in Dubai, adding another 1,500 job opportunities to its careers support service.

Its careers service is exclusively available to holders of the CIACM MMQ – its entry-level marketing, PR, and advertising qualification, which can be studied by students internationally.

The CIACM said its latest raft of partnerships will strengthen its ability to help MMQ holders secure employment in the UAE and the broader Gulf region.

“We are continuing to improve our global recruitment network as we ramp up our program to directly place candidates in marketing, advertising, and PR roles,” the CIACM said in a statement on Monday.

“The new roles in the UAE will be split between opportunities at agencies and in-house roles.

“Additionally, we are constantly improving our networking and CV support service to help candidates find employment opportunities outside of our network.”

Last month, the CIACM signed recruitment partnerships with an additional 250 UK-based companies, including three FTSE 250 businesses.

The CIACM has partnered with more than 2,000 companies – including leading advertising and marketing agencies – and they are continuing to expand their network, with a focus on the US, Europe, and the Gulf.

The CIACM said it is expecting over 30,000 candidates to complete its Mass Marketing Qualification (MMQ) in 2023, with over 6,000 having already completed the course in Q1.

The qualification is studied online and is on average completed within 2-6 weeks.

The majority of students who complete the course are based in the US and the UK, according to the California Institute of Advertising, Communications & Marketing.
