Dubai: A Saudi woman filed a lawsuit before Jeddah court against her husband for threatening her to remarry for the third time, local media reported on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old woman got approval from her seven children before filing the case against her 50-year-old husband. She also sought a legal consultancy about her right to lodge the case, asking for her right of guardianship over his funds and properties.

The woman told local media that her husband is a businessman and owns properties in Jeddah. In her lawsuit, the woman is seeking a court order to empower her seven children to get their Sharia heirs before her husband wastes his money on his multi-marriages, accusing him of mental incapacity.
