Cairo: With a passion for heritage costumes, Saudi fashion designer Omaima Kindassa plans to stage a show marking the kingdom’s 90th National Day. The show will be inspired by tribal traditional costumes worn in different parts of the country.
The event will kick off later Saturday in the Saudi port city of Jeddah and run for a week, online newspaper Sabq reported.

The show will feature outfits from the regions of Najd, Madina and Al Qassim. The Saudi National Day, celebrated annually on September 23, marks the foundation of Saudi Arabia by King Abdul Aziz Bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud.
