Islamabad: To celebrate a wedding ‘in style’, four brothers of the Rana family from Mandi Bahauddin hired a helicopter and showered money over the wedding procession.
The wedding has become the talk of the town not only in the Punjab district but it has has attracted the attention of the mainstream national media.
According to details, the male members of the Rana family are settled in Italy for last two decades and doing business there.
Their youngest brother, Rana Ibrar Hussain however, is living in Pakistan looking after the house and the family land.
Last week, the Rana Brothers came to Pakistan to attend his marriage party.
In order to make it a lifetime memory they hired a helicopter for PKR 1.8 million (Dh 42,094) and from up above they threw rose petals on the wedding procession - and dollars and euros all the way from the groom’s house to the marriage hall.
According to the event organizer Mubashar around PKR 2 million (Dh 46,776) were showered on the participants of the wedding procession.
