Dubai: Residents across parts of Abu Dhabi can expect blowing winds and sand today, according to the Met Office.

According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), a yellow dust alert was issued over Habshan, Liwa, Asab, and Hamim. The alert also states, the blowing dust will "reduce the horizontal visibility to less than 2000m over some coastal and internal areas, especially westward of the country until 8pm, Sunday."

Motorists are advised to be cautious as wind speeds are expected to reach up to 45km/hr.

Residents in the UAE will also experience another change in temperatures today. According to the NCM, low clouds will appear over the East coast in addition to another decrease in temperatures.

The lowest temperature today is expected to be between 27 and 32 degrees Celsius, while temperature highs will be between 37 and 42 degrees Celsius.

Rough to very rough sea conditions will continue during the daytime, especially offshore in the Arabian Gulf. Yellow and orange alerts were issued last night over the area.
