Used computers to be recycled

Dubai: Old computers and discarded PCs can now be brought to any Sharaf DG stores at Times Square Centre, Deira City Centre, Ibn Battuta Mall and Dubai Mall to be recycled, refurbished and redistributed to the needy, under a Used Computer Made Useful campaign by Dubai Municipality.

The computers will be handed over to Dubai Municipality's Information Technology department for repair and restoration, after which they would be given to schools or eligible non-profit organisations for use in learning.
