Philippines, Brunei, Singapore, Malaysia & Indonesia made announcements
Dubai: Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand, Japan and Philippines have officially confirmed Saturday, April 22, 2023, as the first day of Eid Al Fitr after they were unable to sight the crescent of Shawwal.
Kuwait, Bahrain, Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, and Sudan have confirmed that today is the last day of Ramadan and tomorrow will mark the beginning of Shawwal (Eid Al Fitr).
However, India and Pakistan have announced that Eid will fall on Saturday, and tomorrow will be the last day of Ramadan.
