Ayurvedic doctor suggests cure in alternative therapies

Dr Nutan Gokani is here in the UAE for a month to introduce the concept of "Egyptian Pyra Vastu Shastra".

Originally, an Ayurvedic doctor from Gujarat, India, Dr Gokani has in the last seven years learnt and practised various alternative therapies to cure diseases of her patients. Some of them are Lamafera, Saropa and Dowsing therapy from Tibet, Pranik healing from the Philippines, Feng Shui from China, Vastu Shastra from India and Reiki from Japan.

"It is a proven therapy where maximum positive energy is distributed around the house," says Dr Gokani explaining the concept of Pyra Vastu. "It is a very practical method and is used to correct vastu defects without physical altering, shifting or breaking structures at home, or elsewhere."

Pyramid structures in white and other colours are used to harmonise the mind and environment as well as health problems, he explains. Depending on the issue in question, maximum life force energy is increased and even reversed in some cases.

"Every minute, 30,000 thoughts surround us and it is here that stress can be felt and the mind needs to be cleared. Alternative remedy helps unburden the mind of unnecessary thoughts," says Dr Gokani.

It was with Reiki that Dr Gokani first embarked on alternative therapies. "It all began when I was going through domestic hassles," recalls the doctor. "I learnt Reiki to calm my mind and was gradually drawn to other spiritual healing therapies and soon realised the immense power behind them."

Dr Gokani wants to reach out to as many people as possible and help them solve their problems. "I wish to explore the world of spiritual healing and look for cures for ailments and problems in life," she expresses.
