UAE’s assistance to Egypt’s Children Cancer Hospital 57357 discussed

A delegation from the UAE’s Dubai-based Dar Al-Ber Society discusses assistance to Children Cancer hospital

Cairo: A delegation from the UAE’s Dubai-based Dar Al Ber Society and officials of the Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt (CCHE) discussed cooperation and the hospital’s need for medical equipment and assistance.

The discussions took place during a visit to the hospital by the Society’s charity projects director, Mohammad Al Hammadi, and the Third Secretary of the UAE Embassy in Cairo, Mohammad Rashid Al Shehhi.

The visit is part of the UAE’s interest in providing humanitarian aid to the facility which is also known as Hospital 57357 and CCHE 57357 and is solely funded by charitable donations.

Director of Hospital 57357, Dr. Sherif Abou Al Naga, praised the UAE’s financial assistance to the hospital and expressed hopes that the UAE would continue its support.

During the tour at the hospital,the UAE delegation gave out gifts to the children.

Hospital 57357 is a first-of-its-kind in the Middle East and the largest children’s cancer hospital in the world, and offers treatment to paediatric cancer patients free of charge.
