First Class Order of Independence presented by Minister of State Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar
Dubai: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has awarded the First Class Order of Independence to Nassar Ibrahim Al Habashneh, Ambassador of Jordan to the UAE, in recognition of his efforts in strengthening the diplomatic relationship between the two nations during his tenure.
The decoration, one of the UAE’s highest honours, was presented by Minister of State Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar during an official meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs office in Dubai.
During the ceremony, Minister Al Marar affirmed the UAE’s commitment to enhancing its deep-rooted relationship with Jordan across all sectors, emphasizing the importance of advancing shared interests and fostering strategic cooperation between the two countries and their peoples.
He praised Ambassador Al Habashneh’s contributions in reinforcing these ties and promoting mutual collaboration throughout his diplomatic mission.
For his part, Ambassador Al Habashneh expressed heartfelt gratitude to President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, applauding the UAE’s visionary leadership and its remarkable achievements on the global stage. He lauded the growing strength of Emirati-Jordanian relations, underscoring the spirit of brotherhood and coordination that characterizes the longstanding alliance.
He also extended his appreciation to UAE government institutions for the support and cooperation he received, noting that this collaboration was instrumental in fulfilling his mission and further cementing bilateral relations.
