Sultan is President's representative
Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan issued a federal decree appointing Shaikh Sultan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan as the President's representative, WAM reported yesterday.
Shaikh Sultan will represent the President at home and abroad on missions tasked by Shaikh Khalifa. The decree also stipulated that all employees at the Diwan of the Deputy Prime Minister will be transferred to Shaikh Sultan's office with the retention of their employment status and financial benefits.
Shaikh Sultan served the Cabinet as Deputy Prime Minister from 1979 to 2003.
