Dubai warehouse fire in Al Qouz brought under control

Dubai: A fire in a warehouse in Al Qouz, Dubai on Monday has been put out, with no injuries reported, Dubai Civil Defence said.

The operations room received a report at 9:12am about the blaze in Industrial Area 1 of Al Qouz. Immediately, Al Qouz Centre was notified and mobilised as the first responder in the jurisdiction, arriving to the scene of the fire in six minutes. The incident involved a warehouse with flammable materials and the fire was moderate in severity.

Support teams from Al Barsha Fire Centre were also dispatched. At 9:47am, the field commander affirmed that the situation had been brought under control, with no injuries. By 10:02am, the commander reported that the incident was in the cooling phase, and the site would be handed over to relevant authorities after completing the cooling procedures.
