Ras Al Khaimah: The Criminal Court here yesterday questioned three people in connection with circulating fake power of attorney certificates.

A court official said the copies had been used in forgery cases. Police traced the copies and detained the gang members. The official said the suspects were two national sisters identified as F.M.H., 26, and M.M.H 22, and a 27-year-old Indian typist identified as S.T.

He said S.T made the fake copies and the two sisters distributed them. The sisters admitted to the court that they got copies from the typist and delivered them to another national, identified as Y.A., who distributed them.

The sisters told the court they got Dh500 for each copy they delivered to the agent. The court instructed the Public Prosecution to issue a circular to detain Y.A. and have him appear in court on November 20.
