The summit is in pursuit of advancing responsible, measurable social impact across the UAE

Abu Dhabi is set to stage the 2025 Impact Summit on November 27, under the organisation of Majra – National CSR Fund. For the first time, a nationwide platform dedicated to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and impact will convene in the UAE, anchored by the theme "Unifying Collective Good for the UAE." Over 400 participants are expected: officials from government, industry executives, leading scholars, investors, civil society delegates, and people of determination. Together, they will share insights, discuss strategy, and press forward an economy attentive to social impact, where accountability features as a central pillar.
Planned sessions include contributions from upwards of 25 speakers across four principal panel discussions. Attendees will find 25 "Impact in Action" presentations and an exhibition spotlighting 25 organisations and projects. Focal areas: the current CSR framework in the UAE, strategies for forging multi-sector partnerships, reliable measurement of social impact, and prospects for shared value through CSR. Collectively, these forums seek to solidify pathways to a UAE impact economy, setting standards for both responsibility and transparency.
Sarah Shaw, CEO of Majra, characterised the Summit as a calculated advance toward a unified national CSR model: "We seek to transform good into results measured by real impact on people’s lives and communities, ensuring that private-sector commitments translate to long-term national value that contributes to the UAE’s comprehensive development goals." Shaw also underlined how the initiative supports the UAE leadership’s commitment to sustaining a resilient, effective community impact system.
A broad coalition of governmental entities backs the summit, such as the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, Ministry of Health and Prevention, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Sports, Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, and all seven Chambers of Commerce and Industry. Executive and strategic allies—including Al Tamimi, Nestlé, National Bonds, Desert Group, Uber, and Careem—will have active roles. The event provides inclusive spaces for people of determination, and will feature a live musical performance, "Legacy of the Founder."
