Liwa Date Festival highlights Abu Dhabi's innovative housing services
The Abu Dhabi Housing Authority has announced its participation in the 21st edition of the Liwa Date Festival, currently taking place in Liwa City, Al Dhafra, from 14 to 27 July. The participation reflects the Authority’s commitment to strengthening its community engagement and ensuring citizens have direct access to information about the housing services available to them.
The festival provides a platform for the Authority to highlight its latest digital solutions and smart services designed to improve the customer journey and raise the overall quality of services provided. Through its pavilion, the Authority is meeting directly with citizens to answer questions, listen to feedback, and provide guidance about various housing programmes, initiatives, and procedures.
Visitors to the pavilion can learn about the ‘Iskan Abu Dhabi’ application, a comprehensive digital platform that allows users to access and track all housing services without the need to visit service centres. The application enables citizens to submit requests such as exemptions, cessation of deductions, and exchange services with ease, all from their smartphones.
The Authority is also showcasing ‘Teyaseer’, a free-of-charge government service that aims to simplify and support citizens throughout their entire housing construction journey. From the initial design stages to final project handover, Teyaseer offers assistance and guidance to ensure a smooth experience. The service includes a dedicated digital application where users can monitor the progress of their construction projects in real time, providing transparency and peace of mind throughout the process.
A spokesperson from the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority said:
“Our participation at the Liwa Date Festival is part of our ongoing efforts to build stronger connections with the community, share information about the support available to citizens, and gather valuable feedback to improve our services. The festival is an ideal setting to engage directly with people, listen to their questions and ideas, and ensure they are aware of the many solutions designed to make their housing journey easier.”
The Authority reaffirmed its commitment to continuous development and innovation in the housing sector, emphasising that citizens’ suggestions and opinions are essential to shaping future initiatives. By combining digital tools with direct communication, the Authority aims to ensure that services are accessible, efficient, and aligned with the needs of families across Abu Dhabi.
Visitors to the Liwa Date Festival are encouraged to stop by the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority’s pavilion to learn more about housing support programmes, explore the smart services on offer, and discover how digital solutions are transforming the way housing services are delivered in the emirate.
The Authority concluded by stating that it remains dedicated to improving the quality of life for citizens in the Al Dhafra Region and beyond and will continue to expand its outreach efforts to ensure every citizen has the information and support needed to achieve housing stability and security.
