SUSHISAMBA: Located on Palm Jumeirah, this iconic spot holds a global New Year’s Eve party. The food is a fusion of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cuisines. The highly-anticipated global event is organised at all SUSHISAMBA venues globally. And, this is the first-ever SAMBAZONIA party – as they refer to it – in Dubai. It promises to be a multi-sensorial experience, with a vibrant dress code of “Chic Birds of Paradise”.
Entry starts with a minimum spend of Dh2,000 per person, which gets them access to SUSHISAMBA’s full à la carte menu, along with the drinks menu. The party starts at 8 pm, and along with the exquisite food there will be several performers, live entertainment and DJs all night, The venue also boasts a 360-degree bird’s-eye views of Dubai’s celebrated fireworks.
Mimi Kakushi: A dining destination in Four Seasons Resort in Jumeirah, this Japanese restaurant is holding its first-ever NYE celebration. Mimi Kakushi’s promises a glamorous extravaganza, which includes a scrumptious menu of signature dishes from the chef, along with festive additions to deliver a sensational dining experience. Guests ring in the New Year while taking in the stunning midnight fireworks across Dubai’s skyline. The party begins at 8pm and the minimum spend is Dh1,400 per person, or Dh950 per person for a sharing menu for a minimum of four guests.
Twiggy: This edgy venue, named after the famed 1960s model Lady Twiggy who was unfeasibly skinny, is one of the most popular dining destinations in Dubai. Celebrate your New Year’s Eve under the stars and take in the views of the Dubai Creek and the fireworks. There will be live entertainment and a DJ playing the hippest tracks. The menu is specially curated for the occasion. From black winter truffle burrata or foie gras terrine with quince chutney and ginger bread, to Herb crusted Chilean sea bass with shellfish cannelloni, there is an immense range of lip-smacking food to whet your appetite. Of course, there is a selection of bubblies and cocktails on offer, too. Starting from 8pm, it costs Dh2,220 per person.
Netsu: Located in Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah, Netsu is a premium Japanese restaurant. This New Year’s Eve residents and visitors can partake in extraordinary culinary experiences, live performances, and a stunning ambience -- Netsu’s dramatic interiors is hailed for its remarkable interpretation of Japanese cuisine. On offer is a five-course sharing menu with premium beverages and guests can also enjoy the NYE fireworks from the rooftop terrace. It costs Dh3,950 per person.
Piatti: The Mediterranean venue located in Raffles The Palm is the perfect place to ring in the New Year. With an Italian Masquerade theme, tuck in a delectable set menu available at the restaurant on the day. If you wish to enjoy the revelry in an outdoor setting it’ll cost Dh2,700 per person, however, if you choose to sit inside it’s Dh2,200 per person, including drinks and a 50 per cent off for children below 12.
The rooftop lounge is also available with a minimum spend of Dh3,000 per high table.
