Takes individual honours by six-point margin
Dubai: Nanthavan Sukkhasanthikul blitzed the Majlis course at Emirates Golf Club to win the Orient Travel Golf Challenge 2012, supported by Malaysia Truly Asia.
The 24-handicapper scored 43 points and beat Mohammad Mustafa (37) by six points to claim the individual honours.
It was a good day for the Sukkhasantikuls as she and her husband Somchai were part of a quartet that finished second in the team event, with Naresh Handa and Bayer Khan their teammates.
The runners-up tallied 85 points, but that was nowhere close to the winning team score of 88 by the husband-wife-son team of Gurbax Singh, Satnam Kaur and Sandeep Singh, with Brad West as the fourth partner.
