Dubai: Portuguese forward Joao Felix has joined Cristiano Ronaldo at Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr, completing a transfer from Chelsea. The 25-year-old has signed a two-year contract, the club confirmed on Tuesday.
"I'm here to spread joy. Let's win together," he said in a video shared on Al Nassr's official X account. Another post indicated his contract runs until 2027.
Felix first rose to prominence with a record-breaking move from Benfica to Atletico Madrid in 2019, but his career has struggled to reach those early heights.
In addition to Chelsea and AC Milan, Felix has played for several of Europe’s top clubs, including Benfica, Atlético Madrid, and Barcelona. His €127.7 million ($147.3 million) transfer from Benfica to Atlético remains the fourth-highest in football history.
Despite his early promise, Felix has not scored more than 10 goals in a single season since leaving Benfica, with recent loan spells failing to reignite his form.
