The UAE’s 50th National Day celebrations began across the country. The UAE community marked their sense of belonging and pride in the homeland with great enthusiasm and joy. The Official 50th UAE National Day Celebrations on December 2 will mark the country’s Golden Jubilee through a spectacular show staged in Hatta Dam, surrounded by the Hajar mountains, lakes and valleys.

The second “UAE National Day-Marine Edition” celebration presented a visual treat that infused patriotic love for the UAE among the participants and spectators. The parade comprised a fleet of 30 yachts, seven boats and six jet skis decorated with colourful flags and balloons.

Hundreds of Dawoodi Bohra members took part in a parade on Naif Road in Deira today to mark the United Arab Emirates 50th National Day celebrations. Members of the community expressed their utmost gratitude to the Naif Police station officials for their immense support in the planning and execution of this unprecedented Golden Jubilee parade in Deira.

As part of the UAE Golden Jubilee celebrations, Dubai Customs organised a boat parade under the slogan ‘UAE 50th’s Anniversary: Unlocking Centennial Achievements’ today. The event was organised in cooperation with Dubai Police and Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC), with the participation of 20 boats. Sharjah government departments and entities participated in the inauguration of UAE’s 50th National Day celebrations at the Sharjah National Park (SNP), which started on Monday, with the UAE national anthem. SNP wore a festive look with several stands and kiosks manned by a number of government entities showcasing UAE culture and heritage as well as community initiatives.
