Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost: Johansson never went public with her pregnancy despite there being rumours of it. Then on August 18, husband Colin Jost finally confirmed she had given birth to a son, Cosmo. “Ok, OK, we had a baby. His name is Cosmo. We love him very much,” was Jost’s note. This is the first child for the couple, who were married last October. Johansson has a 6-year-old daughter, Rose, from a previous marriage to Romain Dauriac.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Ewan McGregor: The couple welcomed their first child together, a surprise for the public as the pregnancy was never announced. News of the special arrival came from McGregor’s older children. “Welcome to the world little brother... congratulations to my Dad & Mary — this is the greatest gift,” wrote Clara McGregor, 25, on Instagram on June 28.
