New park opens in Oud Al Muteena

New park has football and volleyball fields

Dubai: Oud Al Muteena park, which cost Dh6.8 million to build, was inaugurated on Tuesday in the presence of Major General Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina, Dubai Police Chief.

The park, which spans 2.97 hectares, was opened by Dubai Municipality during its 36th Plantation Week.

The park has children’s playing areas, three football fields, one volleyball court, greenery, toilets, a plaza and a running track.

Plants planted at the new park include Washingtonia, Neem, Delonix regia, Atriplex and Tecoma, to name a few.
