UAE, Mexico discuss economic cooperation

Mexico City: Ahmed Hatem Al Menhali, UAE Ambassador to Mexico, recently met with Rogelio Garza, Mexico’s Deputy Minister for Industry and Commerce. The two sides reviewed means to further develop economic cooperation between the two countries in light of the recent meeting Garza had with Reem Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director-General of Expo 2020 Dubai, regarding Mexico’s participation in the Expo. Al Menhali highlighted plans in the pipeline between the two countries, including commencing direct flights between them and waiving entry visas for holders of ordinary passports.
