Air Arabia to launch flights to Asmara

Budget carrier Air Arabia announced it is adding its first destination in Eritrea to its network from December 10, 2017.

The carrier will fly to Asmara once a week, and said the addition of this route will boost trade and bilateral relations between the UAE and Eritrea. Air Arabia also said the country was on its path to becoming an important market for the UAE.

The Sharjah-based carrier currently operates flights to 133 routes across the world.
