UAE traffic alert: Delays expected at key Dubai streets, RTA advises alternative routes

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has issued a reminder to motorists about expected delays at the intersection of Sheikh Rashid Street and Al Mina Street due to scheduled road maintenance.

According to an RTA social media post, commuters should anticipate traffic delays from 1:00 am on Friday, 30 May 2025, until 5:00 am on Tuesday, 3 June 2025.

Expected delays at Sheikh Rashid Street and Al Mina Street:

• Start: 1:00 am, Friday, May 30

• End: 5:00 am, Tuesday, June 3

• Reason: Scheduled road maintenance works

Motorists are advised to plan their journeys in advance, follow directional signs carefully, and use alternative routes to avoid congestion. Suggested detours include:

• Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah Street

• Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street

• Kuwait Street

• Jumeirah Street

• 2nd of December Street
