Filipino expat wins Dh1 million in the UAE Lottery

Abu Dhabi: Beauregard Lim, a long-time UAE resident from Manila, Philippines, has just won Dh1 million in The UAE Lottery.

The second million-dirham winner since the launch of The UAE Lottery, Lim, who has been in the UAE since 2004, has worked in cargo and logistics, supporting his family back home. He discovered The UAE Lottery on social media and decided to take a chance by trying his luck.

Overwhelmed with disbelief and gratitude, he said: “I was feeling down because of financial worries, and I got in touch with my family for help, but deep inside, I knew I had to find my way. That night, I dreamt of my mother smiling at me. Later, when I checked my phone, I saw a notification: ‘CONGRATULATIONS.’ I couldn’t believe it.
