Dubai: Dubai Police recently honoured Yongmei Li, a Chinese expat woman, for her collaboration with the K9 Security Inspection Department during the K9 International Show, as well as her support for various initiatives organised by the Positive Spirit Council.

At the ceremony, Lt. Col. Salah Al Mazrouei commended Li, highlighting that the recognition reflects Dubai Police’s commitment to acknowledging valuable contributors and partners within both the force and the wider community. “This honour celebrates her positive impact on the community and her support for the K9 International Show, which helped advance its goals of promoting security and safety for all,” he said.

Fatima Buhajeer, Chairperson of the Positive Spirit Council at Dubai Police, said that the recognition underscores the Positive Spirit Council’s dedication to fulfilling Dubai Police’s strategic goals of enhancing community happiness and promoting safety and security. “It also helps raise awareness of core community values, improves quality of life, fosters social harmony, and promotes an environment of tolerance, coexistence, and mutual respect,” she explained.

Lt. Col. Al Mazrouei and Buhajeer presented Li with a special award in recognition of her continued support for Dubai Police’s initiatives and activities.

Grateful for the honour, Ms. Li expressed her appreciation, stating that the recognition motivates her to continue contributing to the council’s efforts.
